Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, part of Manna House’s “Keep the Door Open” Campaign

“We’re delighted you are interested in helping Manna House keep the door open. We set up Walk a Mile in Their Shoes in partnership with Tim Farron, MP, because rough sleepers can feel too vulnerable at night to stop to sleep alone outside. They feel like a target for danger. Instead, they’ll keep walking about so that they are alert and ready to handle whatever the night may bring. This makes them depleted, both mentally and physically, come the daytime when they are expected to look for work, find food and make progress securing accommodation.
Lucky you! You don’t have to go through this exhausting night time walk with nowhere to go and no one to depend upon. That’s why it means so much to us that you’d show your support for those who have no choice by finding sponsors to help you in your choice to walk 13 miles over night. Here’s what to do….
Step 1) Email Manna House info@manna-house.org.uk to tell us you are going to Walk a Mile in Their Shoes!
Step 2) Set up your own just giving page to which your sponsors will send their contributions.
