Manna House is always seeking to strengthen its board of Trustees to ensure we can maintain and develop the type and quality of our services.
Manna House has a professional, confident and compassionate team of staff and volunteers who work with some of the most vulnerable and ‘at risk’ members of the community to locate homes for the homeless, prevent those who are vulnerable from losing their homes and establishing services that enable our users to move on and establish positive stable lifestyles.
Manna House has a strong track record in housing homeless people, and a robust profile for our work amongst the homeless and vulnerably housed in South Lakeland.
Our approach is strongly relational and totally holistic, recognising that meeting physical, material, social and spiritual needs are all vital to a healthy lifestyle.
The board meets formally six times a year, usually on Wednesday evenings. There are also opportunities for the Trustees to visit Manna House, to meet staff, volunteers and clients, and to be involved in various ways.
Working with our board of Trustees will offer a range of opportunities to shape the strategy and the ways in which Manna House offers its unique type of support.
We would especially welcome those with PR, mental health or fundraising expertise.
