The Manna House Open Day on Saturday 6th July 2013 was a lovely and very successful day! A huge thank you to everyone who was involved, before, after and during the day. We had superb weather and a lovely atmosphere; it was never crowded, but we had a steady flow of people all day.

The following stalls all contributed to our £650 profit after expenses, which is fantastic:

  • Face Painting
  • Teapots
  • Plants
  • Homespun
  • Art
  • Catering
  • Cakes
  • Cards
  • Indoor Sales
  • Tombola
  • Donations

Of course it’s not all about the money! The day was an excellent opportunity to have some fun, chat, make new contacts and inform people about our work. We scored highly on all points. So thank you again to all
involved in a great team success! Well Done!
Many thanks,

Jonathan

Manna House was born in April 2002, initially housed on Kirkland, Kendal, and then moving to the Shakespeare Centre later that year. We moved to larger premises at Castle Lodge on Aynam Road in April 2010. In October 2018, we moved to the Stephenson Centre, off Ann Street, near Kendal station.
