The last Skills Café of September was all about making a merry noise (and having a bit of a dance, too). Nela had invited her friend Colin to bring his keyboard along and he treated us all to a morning of Reggae music and lots of other genres. Singing, drumming and other percussion instruments filled the whole of Castle Lodge with good vibrations and sweet music. Sylvie even entertained with a spot of dancing. Lots of joy was on the menu at the café that day!

Manna House was born in April 2002, initially housed on Kirkland, Kendal, and then moving to the Shakespeare Centre later that year. We moved to larger premises at Castle Lodge on Aynam Road in April 2010. In October 2018, we moved to the Stephenson Centre, off Ann Street, near Kendal station.
