In August, we welcomed another new recruit to the Manna House kitchen staff. Clare Neal now works 2 and a half days a week as our Learning Kitchen Manager (Skills Lead), alongside Head Chef Nela Geuer.

“I am so looking forward to working with everyone at Manna House. I have spent the last 24 years as a primary school teacher with a special interest in Food and Nutrition, literacy and learning creatively. I am a wife and mother of three, who is rather fond of making pies and swimming (not at the same time, no one likes a soggy bottom!). I aim to get up, dress up, show up and never give up, every day. We are all on a learning journey. I hope my positivity and Yorkshire tenacity will help others get to where they want to go, too.”
