Drop in
Drop-in sessions run three days a week and offer listening, mentoring, practical support and community lunches.
Sessions are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10 am – 2pm @ The Stephenson Centre, Ann Street
Our open-access Drop-in session provide practical support that helps people stabilise in the short term and engage with help. This includes showers, laundry facilities, phone and digital access, support to attend appointments, and housing and financial advice to improve stability and prevent homelessness. Advisors support people to access the right benefits, understand letters, complete forms, manage finances and negotiate with landlords, utilities and public agencies. We also signpost, refer and advocate to partner organisations including the local authority and specialist services. A volunteer nurse practitioner provides weekly surgeries and people can also access haircuts, foot, eye and dental support through the year. Through our Drop In sessions, Manna House provides relational and community-based support that reduces isolation and improves wellbeing.
