Susie Bagot (Vice-chair)

I was born in Scotland and moved to Cumbria on marrying to live and work at Levens Hall.  As well as my involvement in tourism, I was a Trustee of Barnardo’s and visited projects in three year assignments in Scotland, North East England, South Wales and Northern Ireland.  I am the Founding Chair of Stricklandgate House, the centre for voluntary organisations in Kendal, then Chair of the Francis C. Scott Trust for fifteen years which involved assessing projects for grants throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire.

I have always been interested in the work of Manna House as an immediate and localised response to profound need within our community.  As a Trustee I look forward to learning more about the inner workings of the charity as well as involving myself practically in meeting clients and working alongside the Manna House staff.
