Manna House is a Kendal-based charity offering advice, advocacy and a drop-in support centre for those who are homeless, vulnerably housed, lonely or needing help.

For both of the dynamic posts below, working under pressure, as part of our compassionate team and on your own initiative is essential, as is demonstrating an understanding of the needs of our clients.

Experience of mental health work and drug and alcohol awareness and a relevant qualification NVQ 3 or above is preferred for both.

Enhanced DBS Check required, but we will consider applicants with a conviction history on a case by case basis.

 

Learning Kitchen Manager – Kendal

35 hours per week, three year contract

We are looking for a talented cook and educator to transform our kitchen into a springboard for engaging clients in lifelong learning.
