The sixth Kendal Winter Shelter begins on Monday 19 November at the Salvation Army. It will rotate around six Kendal church venues until Friday 10 March, offering welcome, warmth, good food and real friendship to those who need it. About 100 volunteers will take part in running the Shelter this year and many others will cook, bake and donate supplies and supermarket vouchers to help the Shelter function.

Everyone is most welcome to support the work of this year’s Winter Shelter by joining us for a short Shelter Eve Service of celebration and blessing, led by Winter Shelter founder Penny Severn, this Sunday night (18 November) at 7pm at Sandylands Methodist Church, Kendal.
