Manna House

"Manna House works for the benefit of the public in South Lakeland, providing advice, advocacy and a drop-in support centre for those who are homeless, vulnerably housed, lonely or needing help."

Every Monday morning 10.30-12.30 @ Castle Lodge, starting September 12th 2016, drop in to ’Sew What?’ and create something new or bring in a project you’ve been meaning to finish! All materials are provided for a bit of crafting, sharing, stitching, and tea drinking!

We are lucky enough to have volunteer Carol Richards tirelessly networking on our behalf. She produced a smashing variety of solo artists, duets and groups whose generous talents were showcased beautifully at the United Reformed Church on Saturday the 13th of August 2016. We raised over a thousand pounds through ticket and raffle sales. So many thanks to all involved! Photo: Jason Hinchey Silk

  • Manna history

Manna House began in 2003 at The Shakespeare Centre in Kendal. Due to an increased demand for our services, we moved to larger premises here at Castle Lodge in April 2011.
